Everything you need to run a smarter restaurant

No extra modules. No bolt-on analytics fee. All four dashboards are built into CompliChef from day one.

Gross, Net & VAT Split
Every order is automatically broken down into gross revenue, net revenue, and VAT at 20%. See exactly what you owe HMRC — no manual calculations.
Top Sellers at a Glance
Know which dishes drive revenue. The Top 20 Items by Quantity chart shows your bestsellers instantly — so you can promote what works and cut what doesn't.
Peak Hours Heatmap
A day-by-hour grid shows when your customers collect. Spot your Friday evening rush, plan staffing, and ensure your kitchen is never caught off guard.
Revenue by Category
Starters vs Mains vs Desserts vs Drinks — the category donut shows at a glance which parts of your menu carry the most revenue weight.
Refunds & Loss Tracking
Every refund and cancelled order is captured separately so your net revenue stays clean. Outstanding balances are flagged in amber so nothing slips through.
Payment Gateway Breakdown
Running Stripe and PayPal? The payment gateway split donut shows which processor your customers prefer — and the payment status ring flags any unpaid orders.
Completion Rate Monitoring
Track what percentage of orders reach "collected" vs being cancelled. Spot operational issues before they become customer complaints.
Custom Date Ranges
Filter by day, week, month or any custom range. Compare a busy Saturday to a slow Tuesday — the data updates instantly.
Access from Anywhere
Reports load on any device — desktop, tablet, or mobile. Check last night's revenue from your phone over morning coffee.

The business case

Knowing your top seller is worth more than guessing

If your best-selling item runs out at 7pm on a Friday, you've lost revenue — and customers. CompliChef's Peak Hours heatmap and Top Sellers chart give you the data to prep smarter, stock confidently, and serve more covers.

Common questions about reports

Do I need to set up reports separately?
No. Reports are automatically populated the moment you receive your first order. There's no configuration, no manual imports, and no data to enter. Everything is tracked from day one.
How far back can I look at data?
You can filter by any date range — a single day, a custom week, month, or longer. All order history is retained for your account for the lifetime of your subscription.
Is the VAT breakdown correct for my business?
The Finance dashboard shows VAT at 20% (the standard UK rate for food sold hot or in cafés/restaurants). If your business has different VAT arrangements, contact us and we can discuss your setup.
Can I export the data?
CSV export is available from the reports dashboard. This makes it straightforward to share with your accountant or import into your bookkeeping software.
What does "Avg Completion" time mean?
This is the time between an order being placed and its status being marked as "ready" by your kitchen. It's a useful proxy for how efficiently your kitchen is processing orders during different periods.
Are reports available on mobile?
Yes. The reports dashboard is fully responsive and works on any phone or tablet browser. The CompliChef HQ app also surfaces key metrics so you can check in from anywhere.
Full reports. Every plan.

Stop guessing. Start knowing.

Every CompliChef plan includes the full reports suite. Sales, menu performance, collection ops, and finance — all in one dashboard, from £39/month.

From data to action — automatically

Reports tell you what happened. The retention engine does something about it — identifying lapsed customers and sending personalised win-back emails with unique discount codes, on autopilot.

👻
Lapsed Segment

Automatically identifies customers who haven't ordered in 14, 30, or 60 days — refreshed every hour from your live order data.

🎁
Auto Discount Code

Each lapsed customer gets a unique, one-use discount code auto-generated and injected into a personalised email — no manual effort.

📈
Revenue Attribution

Every email tracks opens, clicks, and conversions. When a customer orders after receiving a campaign, that revenue is attributed back to the campaign.
